What I.D. do I need?

On the day of fitting you will need to provide your driving licence and a utility bill / bank statement (no more than 3 months old) both showing your current address.

Why should I hire a Roof Box and not buy one?

There are lots of reasons that hiring is more beneficial.
The cost of buying the equipment can be upwards of £500 which can be expensive if only used once or twice a year.
Not everybody has the space to store the roof box and bars when not in use as they take up a lot of space.
Also when you change your vehicle the equipment would more than likely need to be changed to suit your next vehicle.

What size Roof Box can I have?

When you book with us we will always supply you with the roof box that is the right size to safely fit your vehicle & give you the maximum storage space.

How long does the fitting take?

On average it only takes 20 – 30 minutes to fit all the equipment and show you how to use it.

Can I travel abroad with you Roof Box?

Absolutely you can. The extra space is extremely useful when travelling around Europe. Just be sure to notify the relevant ferry service or Eurostar due to the additional height of the vehicle with equipment fitted, but this is usually just an easy tick box option on the booking site.

How much notice do you need for me to hire a Roof Box?

If we have the necessary fittings in stock we could do it the same day but ideally 2-7 days notice. During popular holiday times we recommend booking ahead as soon as you have your holiday dates.

How does the fitting process work and where are you based?

You will be given an allocated previously agreed time slot to arrive at our unit for both fitting and removal of the equipment so that you are not waiting around unnecessarily. We are conveniently located 5 minutes from Junction 21 of the M1 and Junction 2 of the M69.

How much extra height does a Roof Box add to my vehicle?

Typically when you hire a roof box and bars from us you will add around 50 cm to your vehicle height.

Are the roof box and bars secure on the vehicle?
